The Enia Backing System^TM is a high performance backing used for Enia Tecsom^TM carpet tiles and Enia Caretex^TM two meter width broadloom. It consists of two calendered sheets of 100% recycled vinyl (1) which are connected by a non-woven glass fiber reinforcement (2) and glued onto the pile (4) using hot melt (3).

Thanks to this backing, Tecsom^TM and Caretex^TM products never indent, tear or break and own a number of other exceptional and unbeaten advantages:

- Dimensional stability and robustness: The Enia Backing System^TM has simply the best dimensional stability on the market (EN 986, < 0.1 %). Dimensional stability means that there will be no shrinkage or extension of the backing due to temperatures and humidity variations, traffic, and maintenance. Hereby, gaps or dents between carpet tiles/lanes of broadloom are avoided.

- Simple and comfortable installation: A stable backing enables the installation of carpet tiles in same direction to create a broadloom effect. The compactness of the backing gives both tiles and broadloom an extremely flat laying behavior and allows comfortable loose lay installation. This is especially convenient where the flooring is placed and removed periodically (e.g. trade fairs).

- Great cleaning and hygienic properties: The Enia Backing System^TM is non-permeable to fluids, which allows the removal of stubborn stains (using e.g. hot water extraction) and the disinfection of the carpet. These cleaning and hygienic properties allow our products to be used also in the fields of health and care.

- Highest possible comfort: Their solid backing gives Tecsom^TM and Caretex^TM products a great resistance to heavy traffic and helps to absorb shocks. Because the backing remains a high level of flexibility in spite of temperature and humidity variations, it also provides a constant level of comfort in comparison to other, more rigid backings.

- Environmental Sustainability and Safety: The Enia Backing System^TM is produced of 100% recycled vinyl for environmental sustainability. Because it does not participate to combustion, nor does it spread flames, it is self-extinguishing and supports the safety in any building.

Door de speciale eigenschappen van polyamide 6.6 (Nylon 6.6) is tapijt gemaakt van Antron®-garens zeer slijtvast en:

• blijft er altijd als nieuw uitzien;
• heeft een uitstekende veerkracht;
• is zeer slijtvast;
• is vuilafstotend.
Voor een tapijt betekent dit een zeer goede slijtvastheid.

Tapijt gemaakt van Antron®-garen, hebben een aantal uitstekende eigenschappen. Dankzij de speciale eigenschappen van polyamide 6.6 zijn tapijten bijzonder slijtvast en zeer duurzaam.

Dit komt op drie verschillende manieren tot uitdrukking:

• De uitstekende veerkracht na statische druk betekent dat een pool van Antron®-garen zich herstelt na verplaatsing van stoelen en meubilair zodat er bijna geen indrukken achterblijven.
• De slijtvastheid van Antron®-garen helpt vezelverlies voorkomen.
• Antron®-garen is bestand tegen compressie en garenvervorming. Dit betekent dat het tapijt er langdurig als nieuw blijft uitzien.

 

Antron® polyamide 6.6-tapijten behouden hun oorspronkelijke hoogte zonder zichtbare slijtage of structuurverlies.

Het polypropyleen monster heeft een pool die enorm samengedrukt is met volledig verlies van de tuftstructuur.*

Goede weerstand tegen vuil en vlekken

 

De hardheid van de polymeren is een bepalende factor voor de hoeveelheid vuil dat zich aan het tapijt hecht.

Door de hoge kristalliniteit van de polyamide 6.6 zijn alle Antron®-garens zo hard dat het moeilijk is voor vuildeeltjes om zich aan het oppervlak te hechten. Dit kan minder vuilhechting verklaren en zou kunnen helpen vuil te verwijderen door te stofzuigen.

Hittebestendigheid

 
Als mensen over een textiele vloerbedekking lopen, zou er niet veel elektrostatische lading moeten ontstaan. Antron®-garens bevatten fijne, geleidende polyamidevezels die tegen elektrostatische ladingen beschermen tijdens de gehele levensduur van het tapijt.

Wanneer u voor een tapijt met Antron®-garens kiest, kiest u voor permanente bescherming tegen merkbare elektrostatische ladingen.

 
Alle types Antron®-garens en -tapijten ondergaan speciale tests die goede kwaliteit en slijtvastheid waarborgen.

Tapijten die de Antron®-merknaam dragen, moeten aan speciale kwaliteitsnormen voldoen met betrekking tot:

• gewicht van het poolmateriaal;
• antistatische eigenschappen;
• behoud van uiterlijk.
